COVID-19 travel advisory alert

In anticipation of more countries closing their borders and limiting air traffic, Foreign Affairs Minister François-Philippe Champagne recommended travellers return home to Canada immediately in an official advisory posted on his Twitter account on Saturday. This is an escalation of the travel advisory released yesterday, advising Canadians to avoid non-essential travel abroad. Minister Champagne warned that travel options may not be available as the pandemic progresses. Presently, travellers returning to Canada from abroad are advised to self-quarantine for 14 days.
