Duc d'Orleans II Luncheon Cruise and Recruitment Event

The Bluewater Board is inviting all members, Potential Members , family and friends to a river cruise on the Duc d'Orleans II. We wish to get our members back in touch with each other, Celebrate the Branch's 30th Anniversary, and to recruit new members to our Retirees' Association.

  • Cruise runs rain or shine. The ship has transparent weather curtains on the upper level to keep everyone dry and comfortable. Some of you may remember when we did this same cruise during a very intense thunder storm. It was quite spectacular and enjoyable watching the lightning from the boat.
  • Boarding begins at 11:30 AM with departure at Noon.
  • This cruise is open to family and friends at the Non-Member price.
  • Potential Members will be charged the Members price and must meet membership requirements as described on the National web site.

  • Tipping is each individuals responsibility.
  • We have reservations for 50 people but may be able to get additional room if demand warrants.
  • The Duc d'Orleans is fully accessible (manual wheel chairs only, max 250 pounds) and service dogs are welcome.

    Meal Details

    Lunch consists of subs, finger foods and nonalcoholic beverages.

    Transportation/Parking Details

    Free parking is available. Handicap parking is directly in front of the boat and public parking is 100 metres north of the boat at the south end Centennial Parking lot.
