National Association of Federal Retirees memberships are not tax deductible
The National Association of Federal Retirees is neither a charity nor a union in which membership is necessary to earn income. Members may say that they have successfully deducted their National Association of Federal Retirees membership fees in the past, but unless they were audited, they have no way of knowing the repercussions (as the audit would deem the item non-deductible). Allianz Global Assistance
The provider for out-of-province emergency travel assistance services for the Public Service Health Care Plan (PSHCP) has changed its name from Mondial Assistance Canada to Allianz Global Assistance. PSHCP members will not be affected by this name change but will continue to have access to a worldwide assistance network through the 24-hour emergency toll-free numbers printed on their PSHCP benefit card. Always carry this card for reference when travelling out-of-province.
