How to enter
It’s never been easier — or more rewarding — to help grow our community. Here are three simple ways to participate:
Option 1: Refer a member directly. (They join online or by phone.)
Share the benefits of membership by encouraging a member to join the Association using the link below. Ask the new member to list your name and membership number when they sign up online or by phone. You’ll both be entered to win!
Join the National Association of Federal Retirees.
Option 2: Submit a referral form. (We’ll follow-up with them.)
Share a prospective member’s contact information with us using the referral form. We’ll follow up on your behalf. You’ll get an entry for every successful referral.
Come back on Sept. 3 to fill out a referral.
Option 3: Join us! (Your new membership earns you a ballot.)
Not a member yet? There’s no better time to sign up. Membership starts at just $57.24/year for individuals or $74.40/year for couples — and you’ll be entered into the prize draws right away.
There’s never been a better time to join! All members who sign up using the Dues Deducted at Source (DDS) payment method will also receive a special one time 25 per cent discount.
Need help finding your membership number? It’s on your Sage magazine mailing label. Members can also send an e-mail to service@federalretirees.ca or call 1-855-304-4700, and we’ll help. There’s no limit to how many referrals you can make — the more you refer, the more entries you earn. Start early to increase your chances of winning!

Who can you refer?
Membership is open to:
- Active and retired members of the federal public service.
- Anyone paying into, or who has paid into, a federal public service pension.
- Members of the Canadian Armed Forces and the RCMP.
- Federally appointed judges.
- Partners and survivors of these groups.
