Remembrance Day services scheduled for Calgary on Nov. 11, 2022:
Field of Crosses, 200 Memorial Dr. NW
A televised Remembrance Day Ceremony is held at the field at 10:00 am. Parking is very restricted in the parking lot adjacent to the field this day. It is recommended that people park on the South side of the river in the Eau Claire area and walk the short distance across the bridge to the field. Memorial Drive, directly in front of the Field of Crosses, will be closed from 9:00 am until after the ceremony.
The Military Museums, 4520 Crowchild Trail SW
Outdoor ceremony with VIPs and guests of honour arriving at 10 am, with the Last Post played at 10:57 am to begin the service. For those unable to attend we will also be hosting a virtual event which will be live-streamed on our Facebook page beginning at 10:20 am. There will be limited parking available on site in the field to the east of the Parade Square. Parking is also available at the Flames Community Arena to the South. Note that access to TMM from the arena is through a pedestrian gate in the arena fence. Please dress warmly, and plan to arrive early as past events have been well attended.
The Royal Canadian Legion, 1415 14th Ave. NW
Services will be held at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium this year. Doors open at 9:30 am and the ceremony will begin at 10:30 am. Services will also be held at individual legion branches; check details for ceremonies at specific locations throughout the Calgary area. There will be free parking available for attendees in the Jubilee's outdoor parking lot and parkade.
Hangar Flight Museum, 4629 McCall Way NE
Live in person and on CTV and CTVNewsCalgary.ca at 10:30am. In person service will be outdoors, please dress for the weather. Doors open for arrivals at 9:30am. Open for admissions by donation beginning at 12:00pm. Additionally, we will be a drop-off location for donations to the Veterans Association Food Bank.
Kerby Centre, 1133 7th Ave. SW
Service in the Kerby Centre Auditorium from 10:30 am to Noon.
Canadian Pacific headquarters, 7550 Ogden Dale Road SE
Remembrance Day ceremony at 10:45 am held at CP Memorial Square. CP's Memorial Square is located adjacent to the top parking lot by the 69th Ave SE and the Ogden Dale Road SE entrance.
