National Volunteer Week 2020: Thank you, volunteers!

April 17, 2020
Volunteer with Federal Retirees!
Even during this time of COVID-19, our amazing volunteers are reaching out to members, offering support and making a difference.

National Volunteer Week takes place from April 19 to 25, 2020.

National Volunteer Week is here, and that means it’s time to take a moment to celebrate our incredible volunteers. Particularly during this difficult period, it’s easy to see that volunteering is an essential resource and that, without volunteers, there are so many critical community services that simply would not be available.

The Federal Retirees volunteer team is a network of nearly 1,000 dedicated individuals who are all committed to making a difference and connected by their shared vision of a better retirement for our members and all Canadians. Their support and generosity make our work possible. To take a cue from this year’s theme – It’s time to applaud this country’s volunteers – we hope you’ll join us in expressing our heartfelt gratitude to our volunteer team for all they do.

To all our amazing volunteers, you are a constant source of inspiration and the foundation of our successes as an Association. Thank you and happy National Volunteer Week!
