NPSW 2022: Federal Retirees remembers

On the last working day of National Public Service Week, Canada’s national flag flies at half-mast at the Association’s national office in memory of Federal Retirees members who have passed away.

In 2018, the National Association of Federal Retirees began a new tradition of lowering our flag on the last working day of National Public Service Week and remembering the Federal Retirees members, and all public servants, who have passed away.

Our members have made such enormous contributions to Canada throughout their careers in all walks of public service, so honouring them during this special week is a great way to recognize their contributions from one generation to another. This Friday, we hope you’ll join us in taking a moment to pause and honour their service to Canada and Canadians.
