Association members are invited to share their feedback as part of Federal Retirees’ governance review.

The National Association of Federal Retirees is undertaking a review of our governance and organizational structure to ensure our association remains strong, effective and sustainable, today and for years to come.

As our membership and advocacy work continues to grow, it’s important we’re organized in a way that supports our ability to represent our members, support our volunteers, use resources responsibly and adapt to changing needs. This review is a proactive step to ensure we can continue to serve you well as we work toward a better future for retirement in Canada.

This initiative lays the groundwork for a stronger, more resilient association. It’s also part of the goals we set in our strategic plan to make sure we’re ready for the future.

As members, your views matter. Your experiences, expectations and ideas will help inform decisions about how the association is structured and governed going forward.

We encourage you to take part. A strong association is built on informed members and open dialogue, and your input will help shape the future of the organization.

How to get involved:

  • Learn more about the proposed governance model.
  • Complete our member survey on the association’s governance evolution.
    • If you’re an active member who would like to participate but have not received an email with a link to this survey, please email executive@federalretirees.ca
