Whether it’s protecting your health benefits or advising on pensions, federal retirees are represented on a variety of government committees, advisory bodies, councils and boards by pensioner representatives. Pensioner representatives work closely with the Association to ensure our members’ pension and health priorities are heard.

Federal Retirees is excited to share a new volunteer opportunity for an observer to support the pensioner representative on the Public Service Pension Advisory Committee (PSPAC).

The role is voluntary and not remunerated, lasting for a term of 18 months. We are looking for Federal Retirees members who are in receipt of a public service pension, with knowledge of pensions and the ability to think strategically. We are also seeking members of equity and diversity groups. Read more about what we’re looking for.
